ABOUT ME

With an undergrad in art and design from George Washington University and my masters in Early Education, I started my professional career as a kindergarten teacher and also taught art on the side.

After becoming a mom and my son went off to school, I was looking for another purpose.  I started to become involved in my spare time working on planning events for Fresh Meadow Country Club.  You can kind of say it was in my blood as my mom was the Ladies President and she taught me everything I know.  I then took her place and I went on in her stead.

A friend asked me to help her plan her event and that was the inception of Lauren Sydney Events!

I believe it was always meant to be, a natural evolution one would say.  I am still using my creative side and get to spend time with children when I'm planning Bar/Bat Mitzvahs or other parties.

Planning events is the perfect marriage of all my talents and I love getting to know my clients and being part of their happiness.  With me its personal.
